Former Edge School student-athlete Brett Moravec has signed an ECHL contract with the Indy Fuel for the 2025/26 season.
Moravec joined Edge School for the 2016/17 CSSHL U15 Prep season and tallied 13 points in 30 games. A fifth round pick at the 2018 WHL Draft by the Prince Albert Raiders, Moravec returned to Edge for the 2018/19 U18 Prep campaign and recorded 36 points in 32 games.
The Airdrie, AB forward spent the next two seasons in the AJHL with the Okotoks Oilers and Calgary Canucks before eventually joining Minnesota State University (Mankato) for two seasons in the NCAA. During his NCAA career Moravec posted 15 points in 64 games while helping his team win an NCAA (CCHA) Regular Season Championship and NCAA (CCHA) Championship.
